As the Corporate Manager for UMS, Dawn Scudella works with current and potential customers to identify opportunities for significant cost recoveries and cost savings. Dawn has extensive experience in customer relations programs, sales, training, and business development. Prior to joining UMS, she consulted with small and medium-sized businesses to identify opportunities for growth and expansion through direct development and implementation of custom sales, training and marketing programs. Dawn graduated summa cum laude from Marian College with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and from Moraine Park Business School with a degree in Accounting.  She is an active volunteer and has worked with numerous non-profit organizations, including the CEC (Coastal Entrepreneurial Council), the NC World Trade Organization, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Sarus Festival for Performing Arts, and the Literacy Council. Dawn is also a member of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

Chris Ivy is an Account Manager for UMS. Prior to joining UMS, Chris had 17 years experience in the grocery industry with an extensive background in corporate buying, selling and management. He owned a multi-million dollar/year, home-based wholesale food broker business, which dealt with commodities trading between retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers. Chris achieved a BS in Marketing and Organizational Management from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, attending college on a full academic scholarship. Chris resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two sons.

Keith is an Account Manager serving the Triad of NC and Western NC.  Keith has spent a combined total of more than 20 years with two major telecommunications industry providers.  He held Regional and National Sales/Account Manager titles and has a broad range of experience working with and supporting the needs of all kinds of businesses from small business owners to Fortune 500 companies.  Keith earned a BS degree in Economics/Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, NC.  He and his wife reside in Lewisville, NC.

Kathi Smith

For the 20 years prior to joining UMS, Kathi Smith and her husband owned a manufacturing company in Sanford, NC which produced textile machinery, precision automotive components, a consumer gas grill and many other meticulously machined and fabricated products. Kathi is a graduate of Slippery Rock State University in Pennsylvania and attended New York City University graduate school of business. She has been active in civic affairs, serving on a project for the Governor of New Hampshire. Kathi has also served as Trustee of the North Carolina Museum of Art, is a past President of The Temple Theatre Company and Temple Theatre Foundation in Sanford and is a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
